This book is one of my most memorable reads and also my favorite from Linda Howard. It’s simply a masterpiece. More than just being a romantic novel, it dealt with a lot of familial issues especially that of a mother’s unconditional and undying love to her child. I was touched in so many ways that it felt like I was changed after reading it. My eyes were never dry after I reached the climax. For a more gushing description of my reading experience, read my review here.
